02 · How it works

How it works

Step 1: Create an account with Google
Sign in with your Google email, enter your studio name and phone number and you are ready to go — no extra password to remember.
Step 2: Install the GenBooth Kiosk app on your studio machine
Available for Windows and macOS, downloadable from the studio management page. The Windows installer includes the Canon camera software. Open the app and click Sign in with Google to connect the machine.
Step 3: Go straight to booth mode, manage remotely
Once signed in, the machine switches to booth mode and is ready for guests. Studio owners check revenue, albums and each booth remotely from the management page.

For studios

Plug-and-play Canon cameras
Plug a Canon camera into the booth machine by USB — the Windows installer already includes the camera software, no extra device needed.
Guests pay by themselves
Guests scan a QR code and pay by bank transfer before shooting; the money goes straight to the studio's own bank account through the studio's own Sepay (Base plan and above) — no staff needed at the machine.
A private QR album for each guest
Every session gets its own QR album (Base plan and above), never mixed between guests. Event Photobooth also has a shared album for the whole party, downloadable all at once.
Manage multiple booths
The Pro plan allows up to 3 booths and the Studio plan up to 10 booths in one account — monitor each booth remotely.
